"Let the wise listen and add to their learning, and let the discerning get guidance—"

Proverbs 1:5

"See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the elemental spiritual forces of this world rather than on Christ."

Colossians 2:8

Clarifying the Path Ahead

When some see letters and numbers intertwined, they may think of numerology, or perhaps other forms of divination. These are practices that science dismisses as pseudoscience—and that Scripture warns us to avoid. As a follower of Christ, I affirm that warning. Let there be no confusion: this work is not an attempt to predict the future, channel hidden powers, or assign mystical meaning where God has not spoken.

What you’ll encounter here is something entirely different.

This journey did not begin with curiosity about numbers. It began with a prayer for purpose and truth, not for knowledge or power. I asked God to show me His purpose for me, and in the months that followed, He answered in a way I could never have anticipated.

Uncovering the Divine Structure

The matrix you’re about to explore is built on simple math—rooted in the structure of the English language and revealed through digital roots and sums. The patterns are real, observable, and reproducible. But more than that, they tell a story, one that began thousands of years ago. It is worth repeating, this is not numerology or divination— it is design. And the Designer is not me. What you will see was not crafted to impress or deceive, but uncovered, step by step, in reverent awe.

What I am doing could be described, in the most literal sense, as a form of gematria—assigning numerical values to letters and observing the patterns that emerge. Yet this is not ancient Hebrew gematria, nor is it mystical numerology. It is simply a modern application of the same principle, using the English language as it stands today. Through this lens, patterns appear—not invented, but discovered—revealing what I believe to be evidence of divine design embedded within the structure of language.

Tools once used for mysticism—numerology, occult symbolism, even ancient gematria—were like marred clay in the hands of the Potter. But God, in His wisdom and sovereignty, reshaped them. He took what had been misused to chase hidden knowledge and molded it into something better: a lens not for divination, but for design. What was once applied to predict or control now serves to reveal and glorify. Just as in Jeremiah 18:4, the Potter did not discard the clay—He reformed it for His purpose.

Walking in Faith and Awe

I believe, with everything in me, that God authored this structure. I was simply the one allowed to find it. I did not believe in Christ when this began. But through this process, God the Father drew me to Him—in His way, in His time, just as Scripture promises in John 6:44.

The details of that journey come later. For now, all I ask is that you walk with me a little further—into the math, into the structure, and into something that may just challenge what you thought was possible.

I recognize that what you are about to explore may seem unconventional, even challenging. It’s natural to approach it with caution. I once stood where you do, uncertain of how the intricate relationship between language, math, and divine design could connect.

Let me assure you once more, this journey was not born of human ambition, nor is it rooted in any practice of divination. The next section will show how elementary mathematics produced the matrix you saw on the last page. It is simple arithmetic, and I provide basic examples of the process using three familiar words. Once you see how easy it is, turn your attention back to my hypothesis for a moment. Recall my decision to use this process on numbers themselves, or more accurately, on the literal names we have given our numbers in the English language.

 The Potter's Work

"But the pot he was shaping from the clay was marred in his hands; so the potter formed it into another pot, shaping it as seemed best to him."

Jeremiah 18:4

"But the pot he was shaping from the clay was marred in his hands; so the potter formed it into another pot, shaping it as seemed best to him."

ma·trix

/ˈmātriks/

noun

  •  originally from the Latin "mater," meaning "mother," and in its earliest sense, "matrix" referred to a womb, symbolizing the place where something is formed or developed.

  • an environment or material in which something develops; a surrounding medium or structure.

  • a mass of fine-grained rock in which gems, crystals, or fossils are embedded.

  • BIOLOGY: the substance between cells or in which structures are embedded.

  • fine material used to bind together the coarser particles of a composite substance.

  • a mold in which something, such as a record or printing type, is cast or shaped.

  • MATHEMATICS: a rectangular array of quantities or expressions in rows and columns that is treated as a single entity and manipulated according to particular rules.

  • an organizational structure in which two or more lines of command, responsibility, or communication may run through the same individual.

Simply Elementary

This section introduces the basic principles of Alpha Sum, Digital Sum and Digital Roots. Further mathematical exploration will be provided in the upcoming pages, with a deeper dive into how these concepts connect to the larger discovery. This a starting point - a way to familiarize yourself with the method that will be built upon in greater detail later.

Below is the modern English alphabet. Under each letter is the cardinal value that can be assigned to each letter based on its place within the series of letters "A" through "Z". These particular values will be referred to as the Alpha Values (AV) from now on.

From above, simply assign the numeric values to each of the corresponding letters of the following words below, then add the numbers to arrive at what will be referred to from now on as the Alpha Sums (AS).

Below is the same English alphabet, however now the numbers below each letter represent the Digital Roots (DR) of the cardinal values shown in the Alpha section above.  For example, the letter J = 10 and has a Digital Root of 1, which is calculated by adding its digits together until a single digit remains (1 + 0 = 1). The process is continued for the rest of the alphabet. In another example, the letter S=19, and so 1+9=10, and 1+0=1 making "1" the Digital Root for "S."

Now again, from above simply assign the numeric values to each of the corresponding letters of the same three words below, then add the numbers to arrive at what are called the Digital Sums (DS) .

Finally we arrive at the Digital Roots of these three words by adding the digits of the above Digital Sums:

3.

DR of "love" = 1 + 8 = 9

DR of "hate" = 1 + 6 = 7

DR of "epiphany" = 4 + 9 = 13 = 1 + 3 = 4

Again, this section was a simple introduction to the basics of what are called:

1. Alpha Sums

2. Digital Sums

3. Digital Roots

To the best of my knowledge, the terms Alpha Value and Alpha Sum are unique to this project. The already established and accepted mathematical formulas for Digital Sum and Digital Root can be found on Page K.

Here is the matrix again, first introduced in my hypothesis on the previous page. Below are five places where “patterns” or anomalies might possibly be found. Interestingly, I actually discovered the miracle first—long before exploring any of the possibilities listed in the drop-down below. I include them here to show that my initial focus was on finding literal, visual patterns or irregularities within the matrix.
